“Why does everything have to be so difficult?” “For just once, could something simply be easy?” “Do I have ‘Hero’ stamped on my forehead?”
When I think of new life and fresh passion, I usually think about springtime. In the draining heat and humidity of Louisiana summertime, I cannot say that I often have thoughts of new life – more like thoughts of laying low and surviving until the first cool breeze of fall arrives.
I just love Jr. High, High School, and college-aged young people. Their zest for life, their perspective on life, and their ideas about life bring fuel to the fire and joy to the party! I want them on my team.
Not many days have gone by that I have not asked my Countless Joys partners, “how can we effectively communicate to guys that we need their expertise, their strength, and their skills in all we are purposing to do?” It is vitally important to our overall success to have the input of great guys who are in the business sector, the crafts sector, and the family life sector of life, love, and relationships.
As I begin this journey with Countless Joys, Inc., I regularly strategize about and ask my partners, ‘Where is our mud?” Of course, I am referring to the aspects of the vision and mission statements that challenge me to have my boots in the mud – seeking to touch the lives of others with joy.
